YEIDA Plot Scheme 2026, also known as RPS-10/2026, was introduced by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) for residential plots in the Yamuna Expressway area of Uttar Pradesh. It consisted of 973 residential plots in sectors 15C, 18 and 24A near the proposed Noida International Airport.
Prospective buyers should note that applications for RPS-10/2026 are now closed. Registrations for the scheme were open from April 6 to May 6, 2026, with the allotment draw date of June 18. The YEIDA official website has since published the draw result and final status of applicants.
What Was the YEIDA Plot Scheme 2026?
YEIDA’s RPS-10/2026 was a scheme offering residential plots located in a quickly developing area along the Yamuna Expressway. Plot sizes under the scheme ranged from 162 sq m to 290 sq m, with the authority asking rate for the scheme listed as ₹36,260 per sq m.
The residential plots were offered on lease for 90 years and not as freehold property. This is an important distinction between leased and freehold property ownership. When you purchase leased land, you do not own the property free of terms from the allotting authority. Instead, you own the land for a set period, and conditions for construction and future transfer of the land are dictated by the authority.
Who Was Eligible to Apply?
The eligibility criteria for applicants were as follows:
- Applicant must be above 18 years of age
- Only Indian citizens could apply, subject to the rules and regulations applicable to purchase of property in Uttar Pradesh
- An applicant could apply for only one plot
- Applicants who were already allotted a residential plot or flat under any previous scheme by YEIDA were not eligible
- Only joint applicants from the following categories could apply together – father and son, brother and sister, brother and brother, husband and wife. The category would need to be substantiated with documentary proof.
- Hindu Undivided Families (HUFs) were not eligible to apply under the above criteria.
Note that some plots were reserved for eligible farmers under categories where land had been acquired due to development projects in Yamuna Expressway area and Noida International Airport area.
How to Apply for a YEIDA Plot?
Prospective applicants needed to apply online via the YEIDA scheme portal for RPS-10/2026. The application form required personal information such as name, PAN, contact details and category details if applicable. Applicants were cautioned via the official brochure that they had to fill out the application accurately. Failure to do so may lead to the application being disqualified.
Applications required an application fee and registration amount linked to the selected plot premium. Successful applicants could use the registration amount towards the next payment.
As YEIDA’s RPS-10/2026 applications are now closed, interested individuals looking to apply for a YEIDA plot scheme in the future should await official notifications and brochures from YEIDA instead of third-party agents telling you that applications for RPS-10/2026 are still open.
Key Benefits and Location Advantage
Both Jewar airport and the Yamuna expressway region are important areas in terms of Uttar Pradesh’s future infrastructure development. Rather than looking at the scheme based on location alone, focus on the benefits these areas offer.
These areas will be hubs for future residential and commercial areas based on planned connectivity and infrastructure. For the right homebuyer, this provides a great value purchase in terms of future developments.
Applicants should remember that the YEIDA Plot Scheme 2026 is no longer accepting registrations. As of posting, the official YEIDA website states that there are no current residential plot schemes on its residential-property page. You can find updates on the RPS10/2026 draw and applicants status on its official portal.
Important Point for Future Applicants
Once a new residential plot scheme is announced by YEIDA, make sure to read the official brochure thoroughly. Not only will this have the updated rate per square metre for the plot but also include the sector, lease details, eligibility criteria, registration amount, payment schedule, reservation for different categories and refund policy.
All these factors can vary from scheme to scheme when offered by the authority.
